Our cleaning process begins with a full inspection of each run to determine make, age, condition, colour fastness, thickness and any other special considerations for that particular rug.
Rugs are pre-conditioned. Stain treatment is applied. Rugs are then washed with different methods depending on the type, age, color fastness, thickness. In brief some methods we use include mostly complete soaking and submersion in water, dry cleaning, jet spray and extraction. Fringes are treated separately to prevent damage. The rugs are dried under the sun as much as possible as the sun makes the result more beautiful and gives nature's warmth to the fiber.
